Participation in ESG Risk Management Training

From March 13–15, 2024, representatives from Creditech CTM NBFI LLC, including CEO and relevant staff, participated in the training program titled "Integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Risk Assessment and Management Framework into NBFI Operations.

"The training was jointly organized by the "Financial Regulatory Commission" (FRC), the "Mongolian Non-Bank Financial Institutions Association", the "International Finance Corporation" (IFC), and the "Sustainable Finance Association of Mongolia" (SFAM).

This training aimed to build the capacity of NBFIs in understanding and managing ESG risks, strengthening ESG governance structures, and raising awareness about the significance of green lending and sustainable finance practices. Participants also received guidance on the roles and responsibilities of ESG officers within financial institutions.

During the session, Mr. Itgelsuren.B, Director of the NBFI Department at the FRC, provided detailed insights into the commission’s strategic directions and future policies regarding green finance and ESG risk management.

As a result of the training, Creditech CTM NBFI LLC has committed to updating its internal ESG and green finance policy documents and to proactively expanding its green financing portfolio moving forward.
